Done, done and done! Kinda. Well, the pilot is complete, I’m currently doing a final review with my script editor Greg Wong and other people, and after a few small tweaks (or not), Shadywoods will be off to various film festivals!

Public Release, When?

That’s the part where some of you who have been looking forward to watching it might be disappointed. For Shadywoods I’ll try the traditional route of sending it to film festivals, trying to find distributors or other representatives to sell the series (and get funding for it) to bigger networks.

I’m also looking into getting startup funding for PiXELBLAST instead, retain all the rights and try to create the series on my own budget, then sell it to networks. Either way this means the only way to watch the pilot is to hope it’ll make it to the final rounds of one or the other film festival and then attend the festival to watch it at the event.

Meanwhile

Phungus & Mowld will now have my full attention (almost full – still gotta sell Shadywoods), and I’m planning to reboot the series in a new format that I’ll be publishing on social media (YouTube included) and see how that goes.
